With the elections coming up, one thing is for sure. You are going to hear a lot of campaign speeches and slogans. Many of the slogans are intended to be meaningful, be it is much more fun to look for the humor in it all.

In the last presidential election, Obama used the slogan Change We Can Believe In. Many people that distrust politicians and political systems, in general,­ came out to vote and support Obama because they felt that the needed changes were going to actually happen. It was a brilliant way to campaign and certainly helped him win the election.

Today, many people feel that the country is in a worse position than it was before Obama took office. Now, some people are saying things like, "I'm Obama and I'm going to change or My policies don't work and neither do many of you". Still, the dwindling number of Obama supporters believe in the rhetoric that change takes a long time and that we haven't seen the benefits of the wonderful policies. Those against policies like ObamaCare think like this, "Bring me you hungry, your tired, and your poor, yearning to breathe free and I will give them a giant debt, force them to be happy, and freedom to work without a job". As you can see, the rhetoric always changes with the economic climate. Should the economy turn around, people would say things like, " Obama is a good old friend, for he sprouts out of nothing, more jobs, and less bills".

You know Obama is effective because nobody else can even remember what John McCain was campaigning for. What was his slogan? One might imagine it would say something like this, "I'm 102, but I'll be there for you". He might also be heard saying, "I'll freeze this and I'll freeze that. What do ya'll think about that". McCain's actual slogan was something like country first or reform, prosperity, and peace. You can tell just by the slogans that Obama would be a clear winner. His slogan sounds infinitely more catchy and to the point of voters needs. McCain's slogans simply came across as a no- brainer. For example, it's kind of obvious that every president should put their country first.

There are many more elections to be had and campaigns of all kinds need good slogans. It is a way to help people remember key points in fun ways. Here are a few of our suggested campaign slogans that potential candidates might use.

10- Vote for me, I used to work in Las Vegas as a face contortionist.

If there is one thing to learn, political campaigns can, at the very least, provide you with some good jokes and laughter.
